Happy Birthday, Samuel Kyle!

This week, Sam turned 1. I cant' believe it. Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday that we got the call that our precious little one was waiting for us. We celebrated Sam's birthday with family, fun, and of course CAKE!

Mom, it's too early for pictures!

Whew! Christmas time just flew by this year. Our family is blessed to have our loved ones not too far away so we stayed pretty busy going here and there to celebrate the holiday season. Sydney couldn't get the presents opened fast enough. Sam was content just eating the paper. We had a very Merry Christmas and wish all of our friends and family a wonderful 2008.

Sam had his first spaghetti dinner. He loved it! He has also learned the art of hamming it up for the camera.

Is a cute Christmas card really worth it?

We tried taking a few pictures for a Christmas card this year. I needed a nap afterwards. The kids were actually pretty cooperative. But here a few of the funny ones... and a few of my favorites, too.

Warm Winter Weather

We are having such warm winter this season. Dad was hanging Christmas lights so the kiddos took advantage of some play time outdoors. Syd was reluctant to let Sam ride in car. But she thought it was pretty great once she got to push him up and down the sidewalk.

Bubble Gum

Sydney loves gum! Unfortunately, she doesn't always remember to keep it in her mouth. This time is got in her hair. Mom tip: Olive oil works great at removing sticky gum from hair. As an added bonus, Sydney had a great shine to her hair.
