Truly, what are you suppose to blog about Thanksgiving? Don't get me wrong.... great holiday! Love it! But in our family, it's a pretty uneventful holiday. Maybe that's why it's so great. No pressure with gifts or visits from magical characters (yes, I'm talking about you Easter Bunny). There's not a huge build up to Thanksgiving either. You just have it. Maybe that's why I like it so much. Of course there's the pumpkin pie, too. Happy Thanksgiving!

The Switch Witch is coming!
So we are trying the Switch Witch with our Halloween candy this year. For those of you new to the idea, you leave your Halloween candy out and the Switch Witch takes it and leaves a surprise in it's place (think Tooth Fairy). I've heard that it's a toy she leaves behind, but I'm sure at our house she will leave cold, hard cash since the Switch Witch is very tired and overworked and couldn't dream of getting to Target to get a toy at the last minute. The candy is out and ready to be taken by the Switch Witch. I am hoping this works because the candy is going away with or without that witch's help. I'll let you know...

I've Been TAGGED!
I've been tagged by Coco. Coco and I have known each other since 1st grade and since we are so young that is not very long. We have reconnected through the great world of technology (thank you, Facebook) and now I love to follow her blog. I'm not sure there are 7 interesting or even random things about me, but here goes.
Here are the rules:1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by including links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogs.
1. I am obsessed with Fabuloso - yes, the purple cleaner that you buy at Wal-mart. It smells so good and cleans anything. Although I'm quite sure it's not winning any kind of environmentally friendly award. But when your house smells like a bouquet of lavendar, you probably won't care!
2. I love the movie Pollyanna. It is one of my all time favorite movies. I will still watch it anytime I see that it's on.
3. I can't remember the last movie I saw at the theater. Seriously, it has probably been almost 6 or 7 years. I never go and don't really have a strong desire to do so.
4. I detest milk. You couldn't pay me $1,000 to drink a glass a milk - not even chocolate milk.
5. I am a HUGE General Hospital fan. I don't watch it everyday, but at least once or twice a week I tune it to see what's happening in Port Charles.
6. I've always lived in the DFW area. I've never moved very far away from my hometown.
7. The students I taught my first year out of college went to college this year (I taught them in 3rd grade). YIKES! This makes me feel really old.
I want to hear from you:
